I always drag with cardio, but I look forward to weights/strength training. It’s easier and yet I see the results!

Oh well, it works for me.

Thanks! This is a good reminder.
I agree, it can be hard to start. I try to think what will I desire long term for myself.
And thanks for the thread.

I just have to make it part of my post-work routine and do something that I like (even if that means I'll be taking the same brisk, uphill 5 mile walk to nowhere on the treadmill 6 days a week for years on end).

Yes I look at a long run with fear, but once I get through the first 40%, I feel like I can finish anc the anxiety goes away.

You're over thinking it.

I go to the 5am class. 4:30 the alarm goes off. I stumble to the bath room, brush my teeth and throw on gym clothes. In the car by 4:45 and at the gym by 4:55. Class starts at 5. It’s 5:30-5:45 before I even realize what’s going on. Class is only 15-30min in my world. By 6am, I’m awake and my workout is done.

Do it first thing in the morning.

I love working out but yes, it's sometimes hard for me to get motivated to start - so you're not alone for sure. I think the only thing that has made it "easier" for me is that working out is now a habit and just part of my daily life.

I love exercising especially cardio. Once I’m doing it, I enjoy it and feel even better afterwards. Even if I tell myself I’ll only do 30 minutes , I’ll end up going 45- 60 minutes. I find it incredibly hard to get myself to go do without making myself or going with someone so I have to go by a certain time. I just don’t want to for no reason and then love it when I do it.

Anyone else?
