I saw some of the SM stuff people have been talking about so maybe that's it. Or mental health.

2 executives are also leaving. Not surprising considering all their financial issues etc. But I also wonder whether there was some kind of affair or harassment situation bc of the terseness of the announcement.

What was the SM stuff? I heard he was commenting on things that might offend other instructors but not sure exactly what that meant.

When they company issues a cold/terse statement like that, there is more to the story. Rest assured.

I think it was done this way bc there is more to the story and they are trying to keep it under wraps. I’ve heard about some questionable social media activity from him that doesn’t align with the Peloton brand or values so they may have been trying to avoid another instructor scandal. If it was amicable and mutual he would have announced it like Chase Tucker did.

The curt announcement was purposeful (not saying it was done very artfully) and very standard procedure for when an employee leaves under a cloud. The company has to protect his privacy interests or risk a lawsuit but the departure obviously wasn’t amicable. He came across as a great dude, very affable, but obviously we get a very scrubbed clean and shiny version of those people.

They are and always will be still in the library - just pull up their classes every now and then. Good grief.

I think it was a combination of injury and mental stress. He will be greatly missed! He was struggling though.

I think Chase left because he felt a calling to do something different and help enact social change. That was a big part of his messaging throughout his classes as well.

Love both of their classes - and glad they will remain on the catalogue!
