It’s good to know that the laceless cleats are not that hard to put on. My son often puts on his cleats in the car or in a parking lot because he goes straight from school to practice. The shoehorn is a good tip! Does anyone have experience with Nike laceless cleats?
Nike has not been known for laceless cleats. They had the phatom vision with ghost laces (laces covered by fabic). My middle kid loved those back in the day. I think they have just come out with a laceless Zoom Mercurial but not sure if its just meant for kids (under size 6Y)
If you want to look at other laceless options check out the puma ultra. My youngest actually has a pair and its slightly wider than the Adidas so he likes them. Also soccer reviews on youtube swear by the new balance tekela...they look sleek and slightly less expensive than top 2 brands.
Oh and another tip is to check out some grip socks. Helps with lockdown for laceless cleats...well cleats in general.
