At the Catholic schools, you can get BC for period regulation. Not surprisingly, about half of the female student body has period regulation issues.😉

i am talking about regulars contraception and i am pretty sure if they are distributing it in case of rape that has to be reported and the schools report those crimes and it shows up in the campus crime rates. I would also hope the victim goes to the hospital to allow for proper screening and evidence collection.

Your assumption is incorrect, but the Affordable Care Act has helped with that for some segments of the student population. This article addresses insurance coverage among college students after the ACA.

Staying on parents insurance is a relatively new-ish thing, and not all students have that option anyway. Most college students are independent adults, and the primary insurance available to them is the university provided insurance.

Why is it the schools responsibility to do this? Why not go to a doctor in private practice? I assume most people are on their parent's insurance if you are shipping them to an out of state school they have money to pay for insurance back home.

And that is understandable in light of their religious affiliation and their church's stance on birth control. This is PUBLIC universities.

And people think we’re overrreacting when we bring this stuff up wrt other red state universities or religiously affiliated schools.

Open your eyes, people. This is what our daughters now face.

Thinking about sending your daughters to college in Idaho? Well think hard. She will be unable to get birth control from the university dispensary or hospital. No birth control pills or referrals under new Idaho abortion law. That includes emergency contraception and regular contraception. Staff could be charged with a felony for helping your daughter, even after a rape.
