If you find something please update. Most snack lines use sesame, peanuts or cashews so I can’t see any of them being nut-free even if they use nut-free oils. I would do something different for somebody allergic

Thanks. Yes I can make stuff at home, but my home is not a nut free space so I thought that it’s better to buy products pre-packaged and labeled nut allergy safe, for a visitor with a severe allergy.

There’s no way to be sure unless you make them yourself.

I don’t know anything about avoiding peanuts, but I’ve been burned by prepackaged Indian snacks that say they are gluten-free. I don’t know what the issue is — maybe the ingredients themselves are gluten free ( I always read the label)— but they’re produced in a contaminated space?

Anyway, if you’re talking about a severe allergy I would be very cautious regardless of labels or advice you receive.

Are you looking specifically for peanut allergy friendly?

You can be allergic to almost anything, so you need to specify the allergens.

Long shot, but any experienced South Asian cooks here with brand recommendations for allergy-friendly Indian savory snacks? Like sev, papdi, chakli, murukku etc.
They are often fried in peanut oil even if they don't contain peanuts or nut products, and I don't know which brands make theirs in facilities free of contamination.

Thank you!
