Not OP, but do you have a quilt that you like? Someone posted about the Citizenry on another thread. I'm kind of over dealing with changing duvet covers and I didn't think of this option.

You sound whiny, but since you don't appear to understand how duvet inserts and covers work, here is some help. Duvet inserts usually have loops, duvet covers usually have internal ties that you tie to the loops to keep them in place. Here's what I own.

Buy a duvet/comforter that has loops in the corner.

Just buy a quilt and wash it.

Eucalyptus duvet and cover from Buffy. Perfect for me.

Target has some nice linen ones we just purchased for a STR we have. I specifically was looking for little and cotton.

Ours is from IKEA, had it for years and am happy with it! It's their lightest weight down alternative and is soft and fluffy feeling without being too hot. It also fits into our washing machine/dryer just fine. They don't seem to have the exact one anymore but I think the STJÄRNBRÄCKA is the updated version.

We have a king size and it's a pain to put the cover on by myself but I can do it. When DH is around to help it's a breeze.

…that has a legit easy-to-put-on cover! (Easy to wash would be a bonus.)
