I mean, they are all just wax, right? You could probably make your own if you wanted them to taste good. Hydrogenated oil and lecithin hardly make "food".

Butterscotch chips are just gross.

Caramelize some good white chocolate instead.

I’ve bought the Guittard ones before. They melt well but IMO all butterscotch chips taste pretty terrible

I'm trying to make haystacks. Chow mein noodles and melted butterscotch chips. And the Nestle chips just don't melt well anymore. Please suggest a brand that will melt properly. I found one at Target years ago, but can't seem to remember the brand.
