Notre Dame made the cover...must be their favorite.

Ha. Well, I don’t know about architecture, but I can see campus running trails, access to nature, and recreational facilities all being among the healthier ways of coping with stress or clearing one’s head when stuck on a problem. So, sure, I could see how the campus could be a consideration for some.

Northwestern University campus is beautiful and the Lake Michigan setting is spectacular--as are the views of the Chicago skyline.
OP:Thanks for posting. Loved the photo of Suwanee--The University of the South.

+100
The Boarding School, St George's, in Newport is absolutely amazing. Even more beautiful, the scenery, etc.

Also, Georgetown campus is HORRIBLE, except for the quad and Healy Hall.
It's a tiny campus with no trees or green space where they have to squeeze in buildings next to each other and they can only build up, up, up.

I really wish Salve Regina 1) wasn't tied to the Church and 2) had the second major my daughter is interested in. Because Newport is soooo gorgeous, and the primary major is in the focus area she wants.

The campus sold me on Wake. I felt so lucky to be able to walk around that campus every day. It was one of those things where you step outside and just take it in and it calms you.
Yes, definitely a fit thing.
That said, my daughter did a summer program at Radford last year and I thought that campus was very cute.

The affluent crowd do see colleges as resorts for their kids, so this type of "ranking" is great.

No, it's simply a list by AD on their view of 53 beautiful colleges.

Interesting list by AD. Will be interesting to see how long it takes for this crowd to start throwing darts and arguing about it.
