And of course the rinse and repeat for all else: banks, credit cards, other financial institutes (401k, investments, loans); the IRS; the USPS; your employer; insurance providers (medical, dental, auto, home, life); anything major you own, owe on, or rent (mortgage, rental lease, car deed); utilities (cell, cable, electricity, water, gas etc); doctors and specialists; any services you frequent (tax preparer, attorney, financial advisor, veterinarian, hair dresser, therapist, lawn service); clubs and activities (gym membership, neighborhood association, alumni); social media and online presence (LinkedIn, your email accounts); online retail (Amazon and other shopping accounts); magazine and delivery subscriptions; loyalty programs (airline frequent flyer, Costco, CVS, etc); your resume and name on mailbox; and of course your contacts and people you’re close to (maybe state the change in a holiday card this year or mass bcc email notice to extended family and friends?
