it is still free. but soon the free version will no longer allow you to use the barcode scanner and there are pop up adds every so often.

They just make it less intuitive to close the add. The plan is offered every time you open the app and you need to close it (as usual the close box should be at top right corner). That being said they are really pushing now for paid version. I think some basic functionalities moved to paid version. May soon be time to drop
