I’m a 56 year old hot yoga instructor. And runner.
I don’t care how it looks.

Three. One linen and two jean shorts. Plus a romper. I am very slim and have great legs.

0. I hate shorts. Skorts all the way!

I am size 4 with great legs and I never wear shorts, haven't in several years. I have a dozen or so skirts that I wear with t-shirts to replace shorts and show off my legs. Also, slightly wedged white-soled shoes to go with. Looks sporty, casual and nice all at the same time.

I also have some t-shirt dresses, but love the skirts and t's the best. Though, I am no longer bending over at playgrounds with little kids. So there's that.

Zero. I’m mostly a size 10 but my thighs are more typical of someone who is like a size 14 or 16. Even when I was a 2 or 4 in my 20’s my thighs were more like a size 8. So I didn’t even really wear shorts then.

7 or so. I'm 47 but still have great legs.

I think I have five in my drawer and I only wear two of them. Almost time for a donation run.

Several denim, four pairs of a pair I found at target that was really flattering, a few pairs of camo casual shorts, some birdwell britches, and a few pairs of dressier shorts. I guess a lot. I’m skinny and the key is to find shorts with small waist and wider legs - I tuck stuff in and it’s super flattering.

Three. It used to be zero but I gave in during Covid when I was WFH with a toddler in DC where it’s gross like 4 months out if the year. They are all from Loft and I wouldn’t say they are stylish but not terrible. I also wear them on vacation or when we go to the pool sometimes when I want something to throw on other than a caftan.

Navy, brown, and olive green. Bases covered.

Not athletic shorts but Jean or linen or whatever type of casual shorts you wear in the summer? I need to purge!
