Various times but some were broad daylight. The most heinous one (grabbing/attempted abduction of 14yo girl) was in the evening, 7pm or so, but probably not dark since it was summer.

As a female cyclist and runner who frequents this trail, I 100% care. I have taken for granted that it is a safe area for years.

Several years ago in my neighborhood in Rockville, a woman posted about being attacked on a running trail. She wanted to warn everyone in the neighborhood. It never made the news and so only the people who saw the post were alerted to the danger. I think a) cops/men in charge don’t really care about attacks on women and b) there is a desire to not report/under report crime stats so neighborhoods seem safer.

+1000

I’ve never understood why law enforcement would hold such information from the public. Inform people so they can make safe choices.

Because it doesn’t fit The Narrative.
We, as women, are supposed to sit down & shut up.

Glad he's been caught!

They really do need to advertise these attacks more.

Well, duh, it’s the playbook. Deflect and distract, then ignore.

Middle age male bikers are still a threat . We should care.

Long record including an outstanding warrant in NY. He came here in Jan from there.
