+1. Even before the chip shortage the car buying programs were not the cheapest way to buy a car. I definitely wouldn't bother now (they might not even be able to match you with a dealership). What type of car are you looking for. People can give you advice.


Agreed. If this is the only reason you are going to join Costco, don’t do it. I found the costco delas were not that good even before Covid.

Yes- I tried to look up a Chevy dealer the other day as I'm looking at the Chevy Bolt and it said no dealers in my area (NC) I tried SC and no dealers there either

I'm thinking of becoming a member exclusively for this purpose. No store in immediate area.

Has anyone purchased a car through the program?

The entire thing seems so simple. Almost too simple!
