Correct, you meet all seven teachers. But middle and high school also have a homeroom teacher but the same as elem.

My kid's high school invited students too. Very few students came, but for those that did, there was a club fair and opportunities to chat with the principal and counseling team.

Just for parents. Some schools offer babysitting for kids to help single parents be able to attend. But if that’s the case the kids are in a separate room eating pizza and Plato g games while the parents go to meet the teachers.

It's intended to be for parents only. Some schools have babysitting options.

My teens are both Ambassadors so they have to be at their schools’ BTSNs. As a teacher, I discourage my students from attending unless they need to serve as an interpreter or assist a parent with disabilities. The classrooms are crowded enough as it is with just staff and parents. Adding 30 tweens just isn’t safe or comfortable.

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question - but is Back to School Night just for parents or do the kids attend also? Last year it was on zoom and this year it's in person. The email that came home said "Families" but I don't know if that just means parents/guardians or kids also. Thanks!
