Neither DH and I particularly like watching sports. We will watch some of the Olympics and he tries to watch big games to be able to keep up with conversations at work. But he is much more into actually playing sports and keeping himself fit, and he pushes for weekend family plans that involve physical activity. He has taught our kids to throw a football and he shoots hoops with our son.
I have to say, I’m really grateful he doesn’t spend weekends watching sports or paying video games with friends.
Haha yes - god dcum never disappoints. Of course it was in jest. I find it amusing and appreciate that my mom sat through 14+ years of sports for my sister and I and watched every game even though she truly didn’t like sports. Never played any and probably didn’t know the rules to most of them. But she sat there for every game. I will obviously do the same for my kids no matter what they are involved in!
And DH and I are active and don’t play video games. So I guess that is something. But I do love watching sports!
