Was it reported school wide that there is a case? And you were notified specifically as a close contact? Good luck. Don’t stress, hopefully it’s just extremely precautionary

Well, just to keep this school year more interesting, here we go!

Got an alert from our ACPS school about a close contact for monkeypox, followed by a call from the Alexandria Health Dept. We have to monitor and track our child’s symptoms for 10 days. No quarantine for now, but this is unnerving to say the least. These poor kids too!
