I ride my bike all the time, but never on the road. It's just not safe. I stick to trails.

I used to, but I don't feel safe doing it anymore. Everyone is driving while looking at their phones and I'm afraid I'm going to get squished.

I used to. There is a group of Arlington women who organize rides. I never felt safe alone.

Curious to know how many DCUMers are also cyclists, particularly women.

How often do you ride? How far, and do you usually ride alone?

I usually ride alone, mainly because I am slow-ish, and I like to "smell the flowers". But curious to know if there are more cyclists out there. (esp over 40!)
