I need more than drugs etc. I need the behavioral therapy bc I have been getting heavier and heavier. I lose on fad diets only to go crazy and gain more. I have come serious mental issues here…this is all on me. Time for a different tactic .

I need to change my lifestyle and eating habits, but I realize I cannot do it on my own anymore. I know there are diet programs, and I did one. But the therapy and help was minimal, it was all about buying their products and a drug. I want to use the new drugs, but I need therapy etc to go with it. I would consider surgery, but too many horror stories about complications after a couple years. And, with the surgery you don’t eat anything hardly, that is why every one loses weight.

I am prediabetic and have lost 20lbs with Ozempic over the past several months. This drug really helps with managing your desire to eat. It’s not a magic pill, but a real solution.
If your primary care doc won’t prescribe, ask for a referral to an endocrinologist.
Can she get a prescription from one of the online places? I can’t recall the name. I filled out an intake form once but I didn’t qualify because I take another medication that interacts, so all I was eligible for was the “coaching.”
