What’s the reason for men living longer when married though? Without an explanation we don’t know if it’s correlation vs causation. It could easily be a case of healthier men working lower risk white collar jobs being more desirable marriage partners than less healthy men who work more dangerous, lower paying blue collar jobs.

It is correlation. Desirable men will live longer even if not married.

From what I've read, the male:female gender ratio on most dating apps is at least 3:1 and in many cases multiple times that. Seems weird because almost everyone I know, man or woman, is on the apps and yet the gender ratio still seems very skewed. Most of the women I've talked to say they are very picky and swipe right on 1-5% of the men they see, while most guys including myself get few if any matches (except for one really good looking guy I know). Why is the gender ratio on dating apps so imbalanced?
