As a veteran of going from gym to work I agree with this 100%. Primary reason is that it is easy to forget something simple like a belt or socks when you're rushing around in the morning . I'd also recommend buying some small laundry bags or using store plastic bags to separate your used gym clothes and wet towel. I'm a guy so I don't have makeup or a hairdryer to think about, but I do have to make sure I always have toiletries like a razor to shave with, shaving cream, extra bar of soap, etc. It's all the little things that if forgotten make you have to go back home.
