In the morning, the teacher takes the lunch count and submits it to the office so the cafeteria knows how many lunches to make. When it’s lunchtime, the child lines up, enters school ID number (if it isn’t memorized yet they just tell their name and staff will look it up, but this slows the line for everyone), collects lunch and goes to table to eat. The teacher isn’t at lunch. Teacher drops off class and picks up class.
