Honestly, I don’t think I’m being overly harsh. I fully appreciate that new software can be tricky, and nobody is launching into anyone personally. Of course mistakes happen! It is also true that I was told I could rely on this app to give me peace of mind about my kid’s bus and that I could rely on it to tell me when to expect him home. In retrospect, they clearly linked my kid to the wrong vehicle. I feel pretty comfortable saying that wasn’t a great way to start the year for us, even if there’s a reasonable human error explanation.
I was less concerned by the app than the fact the bus never came. That was a big fail.Anonymous wrote:Today is Day 1. Give them a break. Have you ever been part of a software launch at a large company? There are always some tweaks that need to be made the first few days and then some.
