Send it in.
The teacher will make them contribute it to the class pool so the slackers who bought nothing can take advantage of your generosity. You don't think your child is going to actually go through 12 glue sticks do you?

It lists 1 headphone and 1 pencil box, do you label them? I got my kid pokemon pencil box and a not cheap video game headphone, and I have both labeled. I hope they don't tear out the label.

I also sent it all in (have three kids in elementary). Most of their stuff was in gallon ziplocks, so if there's too much, they could use those to stash extra.

They always get more than they need because people are so generous. If they need more in the future they will let you know.

Last year k over zoom before school start, classroom teacher told us not to bring all supplies in because they have no room in classroom. They told us to fit as many as you can in pencil box.

This year, there was no zoom before school start today, and we missed the sneak peek in person last friday because we were out of town. It just came to my mind that if I did it right or wrong.

Well I guess in that case you’d better ask the teacher- have never been instructed to only bring what could fit in the pencil box.

Op here. Oh, I labeled my kid's pencil box in his name and open supplies to fit into his pencil box. I also label his headphone (from the school supply list).......what should I do now? Leave it alone? Or bring the rest in tomorrow? Many packages are torn open because I open them up.

Sent it all in today.

Sent purple glue sticks instead of clear because the purple dries clear and I couldn't find "clear" that wasn't purple. Oh well.

I send it all in. However, I was late shopping this year and Target was really picked over this weekend so I couldn't get everything, ordered the last couple thigs from Amazon and will send when it arrives.

Also, is anyone else's school requesting purple AND clear gluesticks? I thought the whole idea behind the purple version was that it dries clear?

We missed sneak peek last friday, so today's the first day my child go back to school. The school supply list is not long (2 box of crayon, 8 giant glue stick, 4 boxes of #2 pencils etc), but no way they all fit into his pencil box. So, I just put some pencil, a glue stick and some crayons/markers/colored pencils, scissors, erasers etc as long as they all fit into his big pencil box. Am I supposed to keep other supplies (that on school supply list, but not fit into his pencil box) at home to use for the school year or should I have asked my child to bring the rest of supplies in a bag to classroom teacher to keep(for his use) or distribution (to other kids)?

What is the norm here?
