Only 30% of our students are proficient in Algebra? Eh, the scoring must be ‘arbitrary’. The kids all got As and Bs in the class, right? The testing/ranking must be defective.
I think you're confused. 27% of MD students were proficient at Algebra according to the new test that was administered for the fist time after the pandemic. I haven't seen stats for MCPS specifically, but the test itself seems problematic especially since there's no baseline to compare to.
