Which actions are you saying he "should" take?
I watch how he votes at BOE meetings, both in the public portion and the behind-closed-doors votes. He almost always votes with Shebra, Brenda and Judy, who rubber stamp everything from the superintendent, while Rebecca is willing to go out on a limb for change, as was Hana, and sometimes Karla and Lynne. He says in another op-Ed for Bethesda Beat that one of the main responsibilities is holding the superintendent accountable, but in this op-Ed I feel he is blaming MCEA for all the acrimony and explaining away the mistakes of MCPS. I don’t think MCPS is the devil and this is all just my opinion. But I think his voting record, particularly the behind closed doors votes, say a lot.
