If your child’s IEP team is considering the placement, you can ask for a tour which I highly recommend.

Are you asking about SESES? This is a very small program and you are unlikely to find anyone else knowledgeable in this forum (and maybe not in special needs). What are you trying to understand? If the IEP team decides this is the correct placement for the student, I don’t think there’s much choice about it.
