They have already stated clearly that CogAT testing was suspended for 3 years (through 22-23). If it comes back, it would be for another year and that's a big IF.

My understanding is that they are running a 3 year trial for the new admission process (no COGAT for MS and HS, lottery for MS etc). Next year(22/23) is the final 3rd year of this trial/experiment. No one knows what will happen after that. Last year(21/22) they did not announce details of admission process till mid fall. That wait was very stressful for students and families.

They already announced no CogAT this year for CES/middle school magnets.

As the Board has said before, nobody knows when or if Cogat will make a return for ES, MS or HS level.
