The schools have software to see the websites the student has open on each MCPS chrome book. The teacher will know immediately upon opening the program that his school chrome book is off line.
Not necessarily, we use our own computer and never have taken an MCPS computer but we are still virtual. Its never been an issue. If they are logged in, its fine.
Not everyone uses GoGuardian. Even if they do, the program is so glitchy that I’ve seen students in front of me working on the classroom cart Chromebooks, but GoGuardian said they were offline. It’s only an issue for standardized testing.
