+1 to recommending a carrier over a stroller. It is one big hill with narrow sidewalks and lots of steps into/out of stores and restaurants in the main "downtown" area.

I took my (then) 8 month old last fall. in the town, definitely use a carrier - the sidewalks are very narrow and there are a lot of shops/restaurants that require stair walking. yes, it's basically all a hill, but not bad walking.

there were a good number of trails, but again I'd use a carrier. we brought a jogging stroller which was great for some of the rougher areas, but there were some structures that had stairs that we couldn't access.

The little town is small with a few little (so, not all that stroller-friendly) shops and restaurants, but hilly and with narrow sidewalks. There are some easy trails, but I don't recall if they are paved. There are a few buildings with historical exhibits, too. If you go, I'd use a carrier, not a stroller.

Going to harpers ferry for the day and wondering what activities are baby-friendly? As in, stroller-friendly? I know there's a bit of hiking and don't know if there are paved paths or everything is on the ground (not hardy stroller wheels). Is there a cute area.just to walk around and look at stuff or go to shops? Is the entire thing a hill (also going with older parents). Thanks!!
