I paid lump sum in 2020, prior to the PSLF change. I heard I can recoup payments made during the pandemic though?

Not OP but a lot of us weren't eligible under the PSLF program until Bidens 2021 executive order. You had to have very specific payment circumstances and it excluded a lot of public servants.

I'm kinda surprised OP's student loan interest rate was lower than her refi rate, but I guess rates were very low in 2020. Sorry OP.

What if I took home equity in 2020 to full pay my federal student loans - AFTER 10 years of federal employment and payments? Can I get a refund under the PSLF Waiver? Or is it required that the loan still be in repayment status now?
