My kid improved by 80 point by reviewing/learning trig. Trig was rushed at the end of the school year.
DCs first attempt was during trig/pre Calc and the second attempt was a year later. She said that completing trig definitely helped; between that and about 6-8 hours of prep the math score went up over 100 points.

Nice. I don’t agree with posters saying just rote practice. Sure you could spend hours going over all math for the SAT, or you could work smart by figuring out where the weak spots are. Who’s got the time to burn hours studying things you already know?

Print out the math portion of the practice tests. Do as many of these as she can. For every missed question, look up the explanation on youtube (DD has been able to find help with every SAT question on youtube so far).

Do a couple of practice tests for math, work together to see what type of questions she misses (College Board gives this info), and use Khan Academy. If a student is motivated, they can make great progress with Khan.
If a student isn't motivated, then using tutoring is a better option.
