We've used Montway and it worked out well. But as PP said, they are brokers. Our car was picked up by a transport company near the car. It all went well.

We've shipped a car cross country a couple times. Pretty easy and cost-effective.

Another option that is likely cheaper is to pay someone to drive your car from point A to point B. There are people who do that for a living.

Beware of companies that are just a transport broker/middleman. You want an actual transport company with its own drivers and trucks. I have used https://intercitylines.com/ with zero issues. Not the cheapest, but the trailers are enclosed, and your car will be in good hands. Communication can be a major problem with an independent operator working through a broker, particularly if the truck is stopped somewhere due to a mechanical issue. And you don’t experience a driver asking for more money to offload your vehicle at delivery.
