How much does your family spend per week or per month on groceries? Do you include other household items like pet food, hygiene, cleaning or paper products in that budget? How many people in your family and age groups please.

I just calculated for our family of two, middle aged woman and adolescent male, $800/month for groceries + all the other items above. We are vegetarian and eat a lot of produce, but do a lot of economic meals too. That seems really high to me, but I wonder what’s average.
