Only idiots think fewer police officers is the answer.
Your child has been slashed to death by a maniac who is hiding in your apartment and you don’t cal the police because you care more about the murderer than your child?
Are you stupid or just trolling?
If (and that's a HUGE if) your ridiculous made up straw man situation were to happen, they wouldn't hesitate to call the police "because they care more about the murderer than their child," they would hesitate to call the police because they're afraid the cops will show up and shoot THEM instead of the murderer because to many cops "hey black person = murderer, right?"
And the actual scenarios where black people don't want to call the police is not when they're hiding in a closet from a serial killer, it's when some stranger is banging on their door at 3am. Are they actually trying to come in and rob you or are they drunk and lost and calling the police creates a very real risk of the police shooting them? It's when you see someone walking through your neighborhood with an Amazon package under their arm. Is it a package thief or are you about to ruin some poor black man's life who is just walking home from the Amazon locker at 7-11?
So all the black cops in DC are looking to shoot you --- that paranoia must be a burden
White privilege personified, right here folks!

Anonymous wrote:Police aren’t indiscriminate killers. Police have killed 36 people over the last decade in DC - less than four per year. The vast majority of those were armed and an active threat. That’s compared to over 1500 murders in the same time period, and the homicide rate is rising sharply in recent years.
