I had babies in different phases of my life - one was in a dresser drawer and had all their clothes that were handmedowns in a cardboard box and all toys in a different cardboard box, and the other had a full nursery with baby furniture. You can spend $300 or $10k.

If you are buying new and fancy- 800 for a crib, 1k for a stroller system, 250 for a car seat, then maybe 200-300 on some clothes for the first couple months and a few big boxes of diapers. Everything else is just noise.
Oh and maybe 100 on 3 or 4 Velcro swaddles

If you are buying new and fancy- 800 for a crib, 1k for a stroller system, 250 for a car seat, then maybe 200-300 on some clothes for the first couple months and a few big boxes of diapers. Everything else is just noise.
