We’ll be getting it. DD’s best friend (10) just had COVID and was sick with a high fever for 5 days. She missed two full weeks of camp.

Same kids got both shots in December and got covid in January. No boosters for them.

No. There are very few people boosting their little kids. Most probably only got their kids vaccinated to avoid exclusion from activities.

We are thinking if DD should be given the mRNA booster before school starts. Our concern is just the side effects she may get, given that DH and I, as well as my dad and brother, reacted pretty badly to the booster and we're thinking (perhaps being paranoid, I admit), that our child may have increased risk of myocarditis. Would be encouraging to know if there're folks who are getting their kids boosted, and if already boosted, there weren't concerning side effects experienced.
