I had this one year and it was amazing. Chef came to my house once a week and made about 4 meals give or take.

I work with a women who cooks at her house or can come over prepare meals. Usually cook as well, so we rely on her about 1/month. She’s prepare 1-2 dishes that we cook or eat immediately, and 2-3 dishes for the freezer. It takes a bit of looking and trying different people / services to find someone who would fit your needs and preferences. Some prefer to cook at their premises with either you or their ingredients, some deliver, some do not, others are willing to come over prep in your kitchen with your ingredients, etc. Some have menus, some charge by hour and you’d discuss the dishes and provide your suggestions. It’s not necessarily a cut and dry process and the more customization (your ingredients, your recipes, etc) the more effort you’d be putting in the process. So, it really depends on what you are comfortable with.

I have major dietary restrictions and I basically cannot eat fiber. I would like my kids to eat fiber, obviously, but I have grown to hate cooking things I can't eat, especially because they often don't eat them either.

A personal chef could help me with this, right? Prepare maybe four meals once a week that I could easily reheat? I don't want to do a meal service because those still require me to cook things I can't eat. Any experiences with having a personal chef?
