OP here. I have not had men ghost me after I have sex. This has been true since I divorced and true in my 20s. It literally has never happened to me. Not concerned. Most men want a relationship…opposite of ghosting. I am also not one to have sex right away.

It's easy for women, even 40s women to find a man who wants to have sex with them. Trying to find someone great to have a LTR, maybe kids/marriage, that's a lot harder.

The difficulty is for those men and women who seek long-term partners, marriage and perhaps children, in their 40s. That is a much more challenging proposition.

Man here, also 40s, I am not surprised. The dating market is still very good for 40+ women. Finding the right one is tough but that's true for men too.

Good for you and I’m in the same boat as you being 43. I’m pleased in that all of the interest is with guys in their 40’s or even younger. I was very wary about dating at first because you do have to put yourself out there and there are some strange guys around but they are the exception.

I am just saying. I am just commenting to try to dispel the myth that a woman would not get interest from men if they are divorced and over 40. It is just not true. And the men are not losers. (I am still not really interested though). I just wanted to share this info because everyone assumes it is hard for women later...and it is very far from the truth. It is not 20 years ago, and I think many people have not caught up to the way things are now.
