+1 it’s a pre-canned set of slides. The entire grade (team) uses the same slides. The slides are posted. This should just be done virtually bc it’s completely impersonal. There’s little time for anyone to ask questions. Then they shoo you out bc they have to repeat the spiel to the next group.

Even if it’s virtual, there will be staggered times since many families have more than one kid.

Really hoping the virtual trend will continue this year for this…

I stopped going to these because I didn't see the point. They talk about the curriculum and what they will be covering that school year, often via a PowerPoint type presentation. I personally am content to just find out as we go what the kids are learning so I don't feel the need to find out ahead of time.

That said, if your DD has special needs you may have more of a desire for this type of information. In that case you could ask if there will be a recording made available.

Last year it was virtual so maybe wait and see what the school says about it. Being virtual had a lot of advantages including childcare!!
