These are not the words of a person who respects the rule of law. These are the comments of a politician trying to play to both sides by implying there might be something fishy in the FBI while trying to make it sound like the real problem is "further division and angry rhetoric from both sides". I've marveled at this for years. He battled cancer and this gave him a lot of sympathy but he's still a good ole GOPer.
