Op here, so I work for a startup that was recently acquired by a larger company within the past year. There are tons of opportunity for growth. I strongly think I could have similar opportunities as to what I'm being recruited for. We are building out my team currently and there will be a few dozen people total by the end of the year. I do expect to be promoted sometime and I know that my manager has confirmed that I will have more responsibility soon. I'm currently working on a couple of small projects that I've gotten kudos on.
The salary may not be as much for an internal promotion, but close to it. One external position would've been six figures or close to that number.

If you like your current job that says a lot: do find out what the potential for growth is if you stay if you don't already know. That should be a helpful input to your decision-making. And... sometimes the lower salary does give you a better work-life balance. Whether or not it's worth it depends on your expenses and financial goals, etc

Please also speak with a therapist so you don’t bring your baggage into your new role. You will crash and burn in a lead role if you can’t be confident.

Also, if your not prepared to hustle and earn your new salary, consider spending a few months improving your confidence and outlook before changing roles.

I don't want to give too much identifying info.
My career has been a bit shaky due to health issues and burnout. I was with my postgrad employer for about 7 years. I relocated during my time with them and was not a good cultural fit for the new location(think midwest) and I was basically set up and fired. I did like the city where I relocated to(still here), so I took a bunch of random jobs and about a year and a half after I was terminated I found another job in the tech sector of my field. I got a promotion during my time there and also the company was bought out around the same time. I was let go six 6 months into my new role(with the company 18 months total). Covid happened 6 months later and the department was dissolved anyway. I was in a rush to find a role, so I took something lower paying and I was overqualified for the role, but I needed income. The company was great, but I really wanted to get back into the tech sector so I hustled and now I'm in my current role which I love. I'm fully remote, the job is relatively low stress and I have a decent amount of responsibility. The catch is that I barely make $70k. Because of the career struggles and health issues, I'm at an experienced analyst level. I've been contacted by similar tech companies that have senior roles and lead roles paying six figures or close to it. I really don't want to jump ship for the money, but I do need it and I wouldn't mind the responsibility, but I'm not 100% sure I'm ready for it(I also have Imposter syndrome). Is it worth jumping ship just for the money at this point?
