FYI- if you are able, you might want to donate a box of masks to your school. Our principal said that the County wasn't providing them and that they are between budget cycles right now.

There are a few super blue areas that are doing this.
But they are getting flamed pretty hard on social media.
Outside of PG (who has instituted it) and MoCo (who hasn't yet, but we could all see them doing it), I doubt the other MD school systems would do it

I told my teen yesterday and they were nonplussed.
Kids don't care.
I do feel bad for the teachers because wearing a mask while working must be really hard.

My kid just got covid in the last week of camp and will be missing his first day of school due to isolation, so masks don't seem like the worst idea. Nobody here in Frederick Co will wear them though
