I’m glad you wouldn’t apply! I don’t give a crap if you’re bored as your job is to teach and keep my kids happy and safe.

NP here. I loathe entitled children like you. Plus anyone who ever says they are bored is boring.

When did you all hire? The market has exploded in the last 1-2 years and it's very common now. Most nannies are receiving multiple job offers.

You should ask your nanny if she wants to roll her health insurance premium into her pay. It saves you both money.

Most families offer a stipend towards health insurance, not pay the full premium. A stipend is tax free foe both nanny and family if you only have one domestic employee. An average stipend is $150-350/month and its run through payroll.

Ask your nanny candidates. Our nanny already was insured through her husband’s work. My friend’s nanny is over 65 and on Medicare and my friend gives her $200 a month to cover a good supplemental policy.

It’s a huge perk to cover healthcare insurance for many nannies but it isn’t standard.

What would you offer a nanny with these factors:

Full-time, on the books
Two children, 2 and 6
North Arlington, 3/4 mile from metro, bus stop on corner, driveway for parking
Live out position
Child related housekeeping (pack lunches, laundry, make food for kids)
Parent works from home (dedicated office space but I know still not ideal for nanny)
No driving needed

Would love advise. Happy to answer any questions.
