wow that looks amazing and expensive! My DD has a friend going though Alabama rush right now, it's a whole other world! She is in a sorority at UVA and it's just a normal nice house, not a mansion. Dues are quite a bit cheaper I'm sure!

I’m actually not, but that thread got me googling. I know very few people who were in sororities, but this summer two of my friends posted on FB asking for recommendations for their daughters from sorority alumnae (I did start that thread). My grandmother was in a sorority, and she made great friends, but it wasn’t for me at the time, and my college didn’t have them anyway. Now, I kind of wish I had gone to a school with them. Fomo I guess.

Greek life by definition is discriminatory and unethical to have on campus, since most colleges provide financial perks to those groups even when their recruitement strategy is problematic. I don't care how luxurious the digs are, OP.
