The tests in Los Angeles are upwards of $500 paid by the parents. NP here and that’s not feasible for a lot of parents. I think OP just wants hints that it’s worth it.

Anonymous wrote:At age 4, I memorized timetables. By 5 I could do long division and multiplication in my head. Skipped a grade. Never scored below 99 percentile on standardized tests in my life, and by third grade was testing at 8th grade math levels.
School was useless and just a place to hang out with my friends. If your child is like this, I suggest heavy investment in enrichment and tutoring at home. My parents didn't care and I ended up getting sucked into gaming by 6th grade and ended up just 'normal' smart by high school graduation.
