I don’t have time to drive to a studio and do a full hour class very often and I surprisingly like the Beachbody on demand barre classes. I often do one on my lunch hour (30 minutes). I don’t live Pilates personally but some people do!

Where do you go for the beachbody on demand barre classes?

I did Bar Method for 3 years and loved it. Stopped because my studio closed, which forced me to try Barre3. Turns out I love Barre3 so much more than Bar Method. It's far more challenging and includes yoga + pilates components, hence the "3" in Barre3. At one point I thought I would add in an actual pilates reformer class to my weekly regimen of classes. I ended up not liking it at all. Mind you it could have been due to the instructors, but I just did not care for it at all.

I like Barre3 and also Pilates Reformer. Pilates mat classes bore me to tears, but the reformer is so challenging I can’t afford to lose focus.

I've done barre before, but only through the county parks and rec department. I loved it, but it was also a mixed group age-wise, and not intimidating.

Now looking for a Barre class during the work week (I hate evening classes) and trying to choose a studio (Barre 3, Bar Method, Pure Barre?). At the same time, am thinking about trying Pilates - maybe one class of each per week.

Thoughts, suggestions?
