I live off of Route 8. I see plenty of Trump stuff (probably related to Cox) but I’ve never seen any confederate anything, anywhere, ever. It’s not a confederate state. Never seen the flag on anything. Nice try though.

Yeah, never mind the Confederate Monument in St. Mary's.

But go off

That is southern MD not eastern MD.

Buy land now. When the new bridge goes up it’s going to take off.

The city of Chesterton was the last city in Md to end segregation. There have been issues with racial violence and abuse there in recent times. There's a college, Washington College I think, where nooses were hung in trees on campus. Chesterton typifies Eastern Shore and Western Md sensibilities. No surprises they're mostly trumpers.

The Eastern Shore is largely farmland dotted with small forlorn towns and larger dumps like Salisbury, Cambridge, and a good swath of Ocean City. It’s a boring and depressed region of the state.

Salisbury is the major city over there and has rampant poverty, drug use, violence, and poorer quality education. There should be a more robust quality of life in this major city in the wealthiest state in America.

I love Easton. Good food, coffee. Not waterfront but a stone’s throw.

It is mostlm rural, just like Western MD and most of the red areas across the country.

Rt 50 was a huge infrastructure project and many of those “small quaint “ towns are full of millionaires.

Playing off of the “Western Maryland” thread. What’s going on in Eastern Maryland? Once you cross the Bay Bridge there are some charming quaint towns and various “waterfront” communities off of rivers but on the whole there should be more infrastructure investments in the Eastern Shore and the Delmarva peninsula.
