Why wouldn't you just take an Uber?

We tried that and Lyft, on the night we arrived (at the suburban Amtrak station) could not get a lift service or car service or anything.

Hotel Vermont is lovely. And, FYI, you won't need a car in Burlington. Maybe you can plan your visits to the other schools so that you just have a car for those days.

Planning a visit to UVM and a couple of other Vermont colleges and would love recommendations for a nice hotel in Burlington. Thanks!
