STA still has AP math, science, and foreign language. It looks like they only eliminated history and English APs. They are offered as the highest level taught in a given subject, mostly junior and senior year.

So the rest of the 8 schools that agreed to this are eliminating them but STA is keeping most of the classes? To be honest, that is really crappy of them to not follow through on their agreement with the other 7 schools.

What does it matter? It does not affect other schools whether St. Albans keeps them or not.
St. Albans is free to do what is best for St. Albans students

If they're offering them this year, are they planning on dropping next year or is the dropping now on hold indefinitely?

Sidwell?
NCS?
STA?
GDS?

As far as I know, the only AP classes offered at NCS are science and math classes, with one or two exceptions.

So they are still offering all science APs this year? And AP calc and stats?
Are they stopping them next year?

I know I should know more since I have a kid there. But AP calc (AB and BC), AP Bio and AP Physics (2 levels) for sure. I don’t think AP Stats but not sure. I think there might be some AP language classes still around. I am 100% supportive of dropping them. The education/ teaching/ quality of teachers is amazing. If teachers feel they can offer a class without the AP designation and feel energized and excited, then that works for us. I want our teachers to feel like they have the freedom to teach how they prefer.

Sorry you didn’t get in.

People typically aren't asking about their OWN school. Did you notice the OP asked about several schools?

It looks like GDS, Landon, Holton and Potomac have eliminated all.
Maret never formally had them.
Sidwell has eliminated most and this is the last school year for the rest.
STA and NCS are unclear.

Anyone know about NCS or STA? Will they get rid of them all by the end of this year?
My kid is at one of these schools (lower grade high schooler) and we have not been told anything.

My child isn't in high school yet, but looking at the course catalog, gds does not appear to have any AP classes this year. The AP exams are still on the school calendar.
