As a female I would never ride Metro. Too many sexual assaults.

Mentally challenged? That’s a conclusion with no evidence. Some people are just criminals. Ankle monitor = should be in jail but let out due to stupid social justice measures that have backfired.

Haven't seen anything that scary, but there seem to be a lot more impaired and/or mentally challenged riders during the day than there were pre-COVID. My son and I changed cars mid-ride one weekday afternoon when we were headed to the Nats game because of a guy's aggressive behavior.

Just get off at the next stop and hop back on the next train, while also texting the safety line.

Back in late June, I was riding the metro from Foggy Bottom to Clarendon around 3 PM. An aggressive male with an ankle bracelet and a knife (and not a pocket knife!) crossed cars into mine and went up to various people. I was pretty shaken up, but eventually started riding metro again.

It happened again today!! Different guy, but same situation. Afternoon, boarded Foggy Bottom, ankle bracelet, moved between cars. Aggressive. This time I had the WMATA safety text line and texted them.

Wtf?? Was it always this bad? Was I just dumb and oblivious pre COVID? I hate remote work but this is pushing me over the edge.
